I have a shelf in my bathroom that is especially for perfumes and colognes. My husband and I share the shelf, but I admit that there is more women's perfume on the shelf than there is cologne for him. He teases me about it all the time and he’s even been known to add a bottle of women's perfume as a surprise for me to discover when I reach up to get a bottle to put some on.  

My best friend was visiting the other day and she mentioned that she thought the perfumes and colognes looked nice on the shelf.  She said it added a little something to the bathroom, and she especially liked how I have indirect lighting behind the bottles and how the light shines through.  I thought it was a nice compliment and something I’d never really thought about before.  I put them there because it’s handy to spray a little perfume before I head out the door, but now that she mentioned it, I couldn’t help but believe she’s right- it does look nice.  I’ll have to give my husband the credit for it, since the shelf was all his idea.
