women's perfume

This past weekend was my first of two annual trips with my gal pals to start getting a few ideas for Christmas gifts. I'll admit that they are the ones who usually do most of the buying, while I get ideas and then do my shopping online. Anything from women's perfume to camping equipment, I can usually find it for a much better price online. Even though that does happen to be the case, I still love going to the department stores with my favorite gal pals, trying on women's perfume and make-up. We always have lunch, a whole lot of laughter, and usually indulge in some sinful treat that we normally wouldn't indulge in. It has been our tradition for 5 years now.

I have actually found some of my favorite women's perfume by checking out the testers at the perfume counter. I learned long ago never to order women's perfume without having an idea of what it smelled like in the first place. I ordered some women's perfume several years ago that I'd never heard of, but I liked the bottle and the name. When it arrived, I couldn't wear it. It wasn't that the women's perfume smelled bad, because it didn't, but it didn't smell good on me and gave me a horrible headache. I ended up giving it away to someone that fell in love with it. That was my little lesson on women's perfume, and since then I've always made sure that I've not only smelled, but also wore any women's perfume that I order for myself. Granted, that doesn't apply for women's perfume that I buy for my friends, because I always order them something that they wear on a regular basis, so I wouldn't need to know what it smells like, as long as they do.

This past weekend, we spent some time in Banana Republic, which happens to be one of my best friend’s favorite stores. She mentioned that she was about out of Alabaster by Banana Republic Women Eau De Parfum Spray 1.7 oz.
So I decided that it would be a great Christmas gift for her. I came home and surfed around for a little while and I found the women's perfume at Carl Black, who can be found online at http://www.jigblack.com/. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for, but it was quite a bit cheaper than the store. I ordered it, and it will be part of my best friends Christmas gift. I love online shopping.
