Perfume Bottles
My husband and I recently decided to remodel our bathroom and while we were cleaning it out, he came across my perfume collection and commented that I have enough perfume bottles for everyone in the neighborhood. He’s right, I do, but that’s not the point. I’ve been collecting beautiful perfume bottles for years, and just because they’ve been out of sight, don’t mean that I’ve forgotten them or that I need them any less. I went through all the beautiful perfume bottles and came up with a great idea to display them on a shelf in the newly remodeled bathroom. My husband did not share the enthusiasm that I had for this idea, and instead said that all they would do is collect dust. I offered him a deal that he couldn’t refuse. I promised not to ask him to dust the perfume bottles, if he’d not protest them being there in the first place. He said he couldn’t say no to that, so he didn’t. Now I have a beautiful display shelf with the perfume bottles from all over the world, and he doesn’t have to ever lay a finger on them. That’s what I call a compromise we both can live with.
