perfumes and colognes, women's perfumeI believe that each of us learns more about perfumes and colognes through life experience. I have a cold at the moment and because I can’t smell much of anything I remembered an amusing perfumes and colognes experience for when I was younger. Back in the nineties when I had just started dating I had arranged to meet a young man. I had a  heavy cold and I couldn't smell my women's perfume. The result of this was that I put way too much on. I did not realize this until later when a family member pointed it out. The young man in question had been too polite to say anything about it. Goodness knows what he must have thought of me. I think that many young people make mistakes with perfumes and colognes so I am sure I wasn't the first girl to spray on too much fragrance because I couldn't smell it. I have since learned exactly how much fragrance is enough and it is a lot less than one might think. Still, I have to laugh at myself for spraying on half a bottle that one time.
