Today is my mother in laws 74^th birthday and in addition to buying her this beautiful plant she wanted, we also bought her a new bottle of women's perfume.  For as long as I’ve been married to my husband, my mother in law has always worn one particular scent of women's perfume. She has other bottles that I assume people have given her over the years, but they remain on her makeup table untouched.  

Recently, I noticed that she was out of her favorite women's perfume, and I commented on it. She said that she really just couldn’t afford to buy any because the prices had gotten to be so outrageous. I didn’t say much at the time, but instead went home and turned on the computer to see if I could find her a bottle of the women's perfume that she loves so much.  Sure enough, there it was, nestled in between the pages of some of my other favorite bottles of women's perfume and for a fraction of the price of the department stores. I ordered it for her and when we gave it to her today, her eyes filled with tears. I hope she’s with us for many years to come.
