perfume bottleI had a very clumsy moment yesterday while using my girlfriend’s bathroom. After washing my hands, I turned towards the towel, somehow catching a perfume bottle on the counter before pulling it over the edge. All of this happened in almost slow motion. My eyes got really wide, my right hand came under the perfume bottle lifting it back into the air. I bounced it up again with my left, tried grabbing it and then successfully bobbled it back down on the counter. A few seconds of playing hot potato with a new fragrance she bought online, got the blood pumping. My reflexes basically took over for those few seconds while my brain hoped that the bottle wouldn’t smash to the ground.

That would not have ended well especially since she was already mad about a flight change where she now has to deal with a two hour layover in between going home for a few days. She did hear the perfume bottle clinging onto the counter but it stayed intact so there wasn’t any sort of foul on my end.
