perfume bottleMy grandma back in the day when I was growing up loved perfumed fragrances. She had her favorite powders and perfumes. She started collecting perfume bottles, because they were so unique and some had very colorful shaped bottles. I remember when my family would visit her, which was often, that her bedroom had a couple of shelves of beautiful empty perfume bottles. My favorite perfume bottle was the one with a soft, goldish bulb at the end of it, an atomizer. She had many others that were tall with pretty designs on it or the shorter sculptured perfume bottle.  My grandma would let me pick the bottles up and examine them. I could still smell the sweet smells she loved in them. To this day, if I smell someone with a heavy rose smell on her, it reminds me of my grandma. I often wondered what happened to that collection of now antique perfume bottles. My grandma passed a long time ago, but I still have fond memories of her super delicious cooking and her special collection of fragrances.
