fragrance perfumeIn summer I have noticed that it is necessary to be careful when I wear fragrance perfume. I never wear fragrance perfume if I am going to go outside somewhere semi-rural or rural. That’s because I have learned that mosquitoes, wasps, bees and other insects find the smell of fragrance perfume attractive. I live in a semi-rural suburban area so when the hot weather months come I do not wear my fragrance perfume if I intend to go outside during the day. Instead I postpone my bath or shower until after I have come in from outside. Then after I am finished showering or bathing I dry off, apply fragranced body lotion then put on the fragrance perfume that matches it. This is different from my fall and winter routine. During the cool or cold weather months I have my shower when I get up in the morning before applying my body lotion and fragrance perfume. Changing my shower, body lotion and fragrance perfume routine in the summer is no big deal. I live and work from home so it doesn’t cause me any inconvenience.
