My wife had a really bright idea the other day when we were cleaning our house together over the weekend. She thought about all of the empty perfume bottles that she has on her vanity, ones that look so good she has had trouble ever discarding them. Then she thought how great those perfume bottles would look if we popped the tops off of them and then used them around the house as incense holders. We are very fond of burning incense in our home, and it really does add this sweet, spicy smell that greets your senses whenever you walk in the door. The incense holders that we have are rather drab, however, and they are just small pieces of wood when you really think about it. So I thought that naturally she was really on to something her with this wonderful idea of hers. We found a few choice and taller perfume bottles to try it out with, and they worked like a charm. Now we have dozens of really fancy incense holders, thanks to her empty perfume bottles!
